In the America's our primary registrars are 1&1, Netsol (Network Solutions), GoDaddy, Tucows and Register.com. In Europe we work with companies such as 1&1 (Germany, U.K.), United Domains and Indom.
Your favorite domain is already taken?
If the domain is is already registered (whether active or not) we use a platform called Afternic to get in contact with the registrant. Here we bid or offer a fixed amount on behalf of our client. If successful the domain will be transferred to our client within a couple of weeks; hassle-free, almost paperless. In the past we have acquired more than 500 domain names for clients worldwide.
| Unlike many other firms we do don't recommend one particular web hosting company. We don't work on a commission basis, we don't drag our clients to a host, because as resellers we could knock off a few dollars of the yearly hosting costs.
We believe that all clients, large or small, should make an informed decision that is not influenced by an affiliate scheme. Hosting providers are plenty and many don't live up to their promises regarding bandwidth, storage, add-on features, etc.
We recommend to all of our clients to do some diligent research and provide them with the necessary resources, such as independent user forums and blogs.
If a client does not have the time to research this topic we offer recommendations for hosting companies that we deal with frequently. They are not binding and we will point out to the client the strengths and weaknesses of each of the suggested hosting choices.
